The Alpinestars Flow Helmet Bag with Integral Drying Fan, SKU ALS615-002112, is a dedicated helmet bag with a built-in battery-powered fan designed to dry the interior of a helmet between sessions. It addresses a practical problem that most drivers solve inadequately: a helmet used for a hot stint accumulates moisture from perspiration inside the lining, and storing it in a closed bag between sessions leaves that moisture sitting against the interior padding, which promotes deterioration and can cause an unpleasant smell.
The fan draws on USB power through a port built into the main compartment. A power bank or USB charger in the side pocket runs it continuously, pushing air through mesh inserts positioned across the interior of the bag so airflow reaches the inner lining of the helmet rather than just the outer shell. The fleece inner lining protects the helmet exterior from scratches during transport, and a rubberised base protects the bag itself when placed on hard surfaces.
A side compartment provides separate storage for visors, tear-offs, intercom fittings, and other small items that would otherwise accumulate loose in the main compartment. Dual carry handles and a detachable shoulder strap allow the bag to be carried as a briefcase-style bag or over the shoulder. The Flow Helmet Bag comes in black and white.
At £67, it works as a standalone solution or as part of a two-bag approach alongside the Goanna Duffle at £90.50 carrying the rest of the kit. The Komodo Kit Bag at £214.66 provides more structured multi-compartment organisation for drivers who want everything in one bag. We hold the Flow Helmet Bag in stock; the standard lead time is 2 to 3 working days from our Nottingham warehouse.
